This post is offered on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2022.

The salary will be paid at Grade 8, £50,618 to £58,655 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.


Working closely with key stakeholders across the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust Partnership you will support the development of the Centre for CNS Therapeutics (cCNSt) industry engagement strategy. You will also facilitate our ambition to become the “go to” place in Europe for industry-academic partnerships in CNS drug development.

Exploiting your significant experience of drug and therapy development in industry and/or academic environments, as well as extensive experience of clinical regulatory processes, you will develop comprehensive knowledge of the Partnership’s mental health and neuroscience research capacity and capabilities, including our experimental medicine and clinical research infrastructure. You will also be responsible for developing appropriate systems and processes to attract and retain new business opportunities.

With support from media and communications teams, you will oversee the development and implementation of an effective communications and stakeholder engagement strategy. This will include the development of content for web, print, social and digital media, the organisation of scientific events and meetings to promote networking. This would also facilitate new opportunities for partnerships and collaboration with the Medtech, pharma and life sciences sectors.

The selection process will include a presentation and interview panel.
