We are currently recruiting for a market leading Pharmaceutical organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a Partnership Manager, across various therapy areas. This exciting role will be working from our client’s Head Office in West London, and will include elements of international travel.
The main purpose of this role is to develop and manage key licensing partnerships within the organisation. You will work within the team to provide a professional and complete Alliance Management activity globally. In particular, this role will ensure that internal and external relationships are managed effectively and will have primary responsibility for specific in-licensing and out-licensing relationships.

Essential Requirements:
Experience in Alliance Management and/or Business Development an advantage.
Strong Project Management skills.
Broad experience of the Pharmaceutical industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with a wide range of people across functions and countries.
Able to think strategically and keep focused on deliverables, key issues and priorities.
Detail oriented with excellent documentation skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Able to operate independently or as part of a team.
Other European languages an advantage.
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
Implementation of alliance management processes, including new alliance launches, as and when required.
Responsibility for management of specific pre and post deal activities required to optimise the timing and effectiveness of the alliance.
Management of all internal and external activities required as part of third party commercial relationships.
Communicating the Company’s views to the partner, understanding the partner’s interests and the implications of them on the alliance.
Oversight and management of document sharing with partners using the SharePoint platform.
Responsibility for specific in-licensing and out-licensing partnerships.
Management of license agreements, including milestones and commitments.
Proactively identifying and managing potential risks, including developing contingency planning, as well as opportunities for realising and increasing value.
Project management of all internal and external activities required to support partners.
Development and maintenance of a strong internal and external network.
