Evolve Selection are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity with an innovative and supportive Pharmaceutical organisation. Our client has an extensive product range within the Optics market. This exciting role will be working as a National Sales Manager. Our client is looking for dynamic, passionate Managers who are looking to grow within the business. In this role you will be responsible for managing the Eye Health Team.

Requirements:
Educated to a degree level or equivalent.
Experience in working in Ophthalmology/ Retail Optics or Pharmaceutical industry.
Management experience is preferred; however, our client will consider people from a great coaching background.
Awareness of NHS policies and structure.
Proven record of ability to work independently and take ownership and accountability of results.
Ideally ABPI qualified, but not essential.
Ideally you will be based in the Midlands area (central location), but not essential.
Ability to manage the demands of a portfolio of products and team.
Proven record of achieving sales success.

Role Responsibilities:
Manage a team of 12.
Deliver coaching and share best practice to deliver on target sales.
Coach and develop Representatives through field visits, frequent 1:1’s, setting objectives and appraisals.
Ensure that all Representatives have key sales skills and medical knowledge to sell all products.
Recruit, train, retain and motivate the Eye Health Team.
Maximise profitable sales.
Work with the Business Unit Manager to devise the strategic business 3-year plan.
Plan and run all team meetings.
Have outstanding key opinion leader development skills and be able to demonstrate success.
Work with the team on their regional budgets.
Set cycle priorities and incentive schemes.
Develop business plans for all Eye Health Products alongside the Business Unit Manager and other members of the Management Team.
Organise and plan for all conferences and exhibitions for Optometry and Pharmacy. Manage the promotional spend for these meetings for maximum return on investment.
Work alongside marketing to produce effective sales aids.
Supply monthly report, collating all team members reports and analysis of the month.

High level of clinical knowledge.
Ability to present clinical data.

Budgetary management skills.
Effectively analysing and utilising data.
