Our client is a marketing leading Pharmaceutical organisation, who have a unique opportunity to join an already established team in the therapy area. The role will be working as a Senior Marketing Manager across the company’s portfolio of products. As Senior Marketing Manager, you will be leading and coaching the UK Marketing Managers, ensuring all objectives are met within budget. You will identify, in conjunction with other departments, potential opportunities for the current and future portfolio and ensure that the UK Marketing Department adheres to the ABPI Code of Practice in relation to this role.

Requirements:
Experience managing a UK portfolio with a proven track record.
Direct line management experience.
Ideally you should be able to demonstrate exceptional sales success across a portfolio of products in both Primary and Secondary Care.
Strong team player.
Brand management experience.
A degree in life sciences or marketing (or equivalent).
ABPI Code of Practice trained and certified.
Marketing accreditation, CIM (or equivalent).
You must have good communication and presentation skills and be able to work within cross-functional teams.
Must be able to travel: role requires up to 40% travel.

Role Responsibilities:
Lead, coach and manage the UK Marketing Team.
Analyse new product opportunities with Business Development.
Manage Marketing group budget associated with advertising and promotion.
Produce and monitor the implementation of strategic marketing plans, ensuring that stated objectives are met on schedule and within approved budgets.
Develop launch plans for new indications, line extensions and formulations.
Interpret intelligence on each product’s performance, competitors and customer attitudes, proposing appropriate actions as the market environment for each product changes.
Develop and maintain contact with sales people and key customers through regular field contact, especially focusing on relationships with key opinion leaders through Marketing Managers.
Assist in the successful planning and running of both UK and International symposia.
Identify opportunities for co-promotion or co-marketing of products to work in synergies where appropriate.
Lead the selection and management and training of agencies.
