Key Account Manager - Palliative Care

The key responsibilities of the role will include:



  • Achieve company set sales targets

  • Maintain detailed records of key account using the company CRM system

  • To understand clinical and management priorities within territory

  • Develop and maintain accurate knowledge of the NHS environment

  • To organise and host clinical promotional sales meetings

  • To understand and communicate company strategies including marketing and growth

  • Adhere to ABPI code of conduct

  • Identify, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships

  • Share knowledge and best practise with other members of the sales team

  • To achieve commercially positive formulary, guideline and protocol inclusion for promoted products in agreed accounts

  • Deliver accurate and timely reports

  • Maintain within budget within territory


The ideal candidate will be / have



  • Experience within pharmaceuticals within primary and secondary care

  • Experience working with CCG leads

  • Knowledge of relevant therapeutic area

  • Ability to liaise and share best practise

  • Computer literate including Excel and Powerpoint

  • ABPI qualification

  • Full drivers licence

  • Ability to analysis and interpret sales data
