Our client is an essential part of the UK Healthcare sector, they're a company that makes a difference to millions of people's lives, day in and day out. They make hundreds of different medicines, treating patients for conditions ranging from hay fever to cancer. About the Territory Sales Manager job
The focus of the role is promoting a leading brand across primary and secondary care. Working closely with an Integrated Healthcare Manager you will have responsibility for driving the account plans for your local area to achieve appropriate usage of your product. You will be working across the entire network of customers, including GP's, Consultants, Nurses and Pharmacists - providing education and support around the use of the product.
From organising and hosting clinical promotional sales meetings to individual customer meetings, your influence over the prescribers, influencers or decision makers in your territory will all contribute to sales targets.
About you
You will develop strong customer relationships built on your understanding of their needs and environment and you will establish your credibility by working in partnership with customers to achieve mutually beneficial goals.
You will demonstrate a high degree of knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and employ a range of promotional tactics to successfully develop prescribing among the customers you work with.
You will build strong business plans and deliver effectively against them. You'll be an effective team player and share knowledge and best practice within the wider team.
Essential Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the field, managing multiple accounts and CCG areas with the ability to 'think outside the box' and someone who can self-motivate, take control of their territory and drive their business.
To be successful in this role you will need a strong analytical approach, selling skills and account management skills. You need excellent organisation and planning skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. You should be equally comfortable working on your own or as part of a team.
