We are looking for a Hospital Sales Specialist to join our Bioscience team to work in line with company strategy to increase awareness with clients so that they buy and subsequently use the company’s blood plasma products in UK hospitals working with healthcare professionals, including pharmacists and a range of healthcare specialists across London and the SE. This role includes the product launch of a fluid replacement
product whose uses include treatment of a wide variety of conditions including shock
as a result of blood loss, burns, low protein levels, liver failure and paracentesis

As a Hospital Sales Specialist, responsibilities will include:

• Arranging appointments with healthcare professionals including doctors, clinical nurse specialists, pharmacists and hospital medical teams across immunology, neurology, haematology and rheumatology.
• Making presentations to healthcare professionals.
• Managing budgets
• Keeping up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company and interpreting, presenting and discussing data with health professionals during presentations.
• Monitoring and analysis of market and sale data pertinent to this territory.
• Maintaining knowledge of new developments in the NHS and developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector.

The successful Hospital Sales Specialist will have:

• Experience of working solely within a secondary care pharmaceutical sales environment, this is essential.
• We are particularly interested in candidates that have experience and networks across immunology, neurology or haematology.
• Previous experience with plasma products or biologics would be desirable.
• Good networking systems across accounts on this territory and the ability to build excellent long lasting relationships with a range of different customers.
• Life sciences degree and/or a professional healthcare qualification.
• IT literate to include a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Package.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
