Between 1996 and the present, the number of diabetic UK citizens and residents have increased by 1.2 million, to an estimated 2.6 million people. While that does mean you are certainly not alone, it also means that diabetes is currently one of the most worrying health conditions in the UK! Nearly 400 people get diagnosed every day, and nearly one in twenty people in England are diabetic. To beat this disease we need to offer patients a wide range of products and delivery systems as well as support to help the person behind the disease. Our client is the world leader in diabetes care with a broad range of products (insulins) and the most advanced delivery systems.
In order to meet the demands of this growing market they need to recruit and retain the best sales people; hence we are seeking experienced, passionate representatives to join the team as a Diabetes Care Representative to cover the West Sussex territory (Brighton/Worthing/Angmering/Littlehampton/Chichester/
Steyning/Bognor). The purpose of the role is to generate product revenue and market share through the delivery of brand values in primary care. You will be expected to establish your products as market leaders and preferred NHS partners throughout your territory.
The ideal person will:
• Be a current medical representative with contacts on the territory however this could also be an opportunity for an exceptional graduate trainee.
• Some understanding of diabetes, previous experience of selling in this area could be an advantage
• Have a proven track record of success in your career, educational or extra-curricular activities
• Be able to communicate effectively
• Have a strong customer focus – it is important that you offer the highest level of service – and ability to develop long-term relationships to benefit the business.
Importantly you will have a strong work ethic with the desire to be the best!
