Manager, Market Access, Healthcare Development Team.
On behalf of our client, a global healthcare and pharmaceutical company, we are looking to recruit a talented leader to join the Market Access function managing a team six Healthcare Partnership Managers in the South of the UK.
This is a high profile opportunity in which as well as managing your own team you will need to co-ordinate the activity of the commercial/sales teams within your region to exploit opportunities for the product across therapeutic indications. You will need excellent knowledge of the NHS as you will work with both internal (HPMs, Brand Teams, Regional Sales Managers, pricing etc) and external customers (Board Members of SHAs, QIPP Lead, Service Re-design Leads).
An experience people manager you will be able to:
o Drive people to meet or exceed their KPI'S
o Take responsibility for recruiting, developing and maintaining skill levels
o Develop local account plans including developing solutions to remove funding blocks
o Manage regional market access budgets and monitor ROI
As a co-ordinator you will need to be able to influence others without direct authority. You will need to be proactive and reactive to the needs of the business so as to share best practice and best utilise the HPM resource. It will be crucial that you lead the identification of business accounts to develop a matrix so as resources can allocated appropriately.

oExperience of management in the pharmaceutical industry and/or the NHS
o Thorough knowledge of the NHS
o Proven leadership skills with the ability to work with others from a senior level within the company and the NHS
o An ability to handle business information, data and develop, propose and implement action plans
o Ability to negotiate for resource, work with marketing team and understand the financial processes
o Educated to degree level or equivalent NHS experience, MBA would be desirable as would some experience in marketing
