Business Development Manager –Two Field Based Roles
One Northern Region & One Southern Region
As Our client is a world leader in renal care, They pride themselves on offering dedicated, patient-centred environments through talented people and technological leadership. They incorporate the most innovative dialysis products, therapies and treatments, supported by a passionate commitment to setting and achieving the highest medical benchmarks. Currently they treat 4,000 NHS patients in 60 dialysis units across the UK and Ireland.
We are looking to recruit for our client 2 Business Development Managers not only to retain existing business for the dialysis clinics but also to grow the business through acquiring new clinics. Managing the lengthy tender bid process (including uncovering customer needs prior to the tender), completing tender documentation, designing customer presentations and undertaking negotiations for bids will be your area of expertise.
These field based positions are very newly created for our client and for the right applicant, offer the potential to significantly impact this business area, swiftly achieving initial victories while developing a long term strategy for continued success. Therefore you are likely to be an ambitious self-starter with powerful customer relationship, written and presentational skills. Your personal sales achievements will demonstrate your accomplishments.
Having previous experience of managing an outsourced service for the NHS would be a key requirement in order to appreciate the extended business complexities. Recognition for your achievements for increasing the success rate from tender submissions and from creating new sales opportunities will be payable by bonus, plus a negotiable basic salary.. £ 45+ Desirable – Relevant degree in a profession allied to medicine or business qualification.
Extensive knowledge of NHS in the provision of outpatient services.
Proven success in tendering/business development.
