Nurse Advisor - Rheumatology - Solihull/Birmingham
We are seeking a current registered Nurse with excellent communication skills to provide educational and clinical support to patients within Rheumatology, to ensure they receive maximum benefits from their therapy.
Working within the Rheumatology Department at local Trusts and in patients homes, you will work with healthcare professionals to deliver improved patient care, seek patient referrals, complementing existing care and support networks for Patients.
The role will involve educating patients about Rheumatoid Arthritis, its implications and impact of medications; allay fears about injections by reassuring patients; provide teaching, guidance and support to allow them to become proficient & comfortable with injection. Experienced nurses with motivational and interviewing skills are ideal.

Skills and Experience Required:
RA experience desirable
Registered General Nurses - current NMC
Track record of working with patients with long term conditions
Motivational interviewing skills / CBT to support patients with long term conditions
Strong communication capability and style
Excellent Time Management
Driving licence valid for UK (max 6 points)
Full eligibility to work in the UK
