HSP appoints Editor and Sales Manager as diversification continues ON TARGET PUBLISHER HEALTH SECTOR PUBLISHING (HSP) has made two key appointments as it continues to expand its publishing portfolio.
Hannah Pike and Nav Pathak have joined to spearhead the 2009 launch of Clinical Pharmacy, a new monthly title for clinical and hospital pharmacists in the UK.
Hannah, a pharmacist with five years’ experience in pharmaceutical publishing, will be Editor of the new publication. She was previously employed by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, where she was Editor of the journal Hospital Pharmacy.
“This lively new publication will help support those involved in the safe and effective provision of medicines, and encourage clinical pharmacists to share best practice and seize new opportunities in a changing NHS,” Hannah said.
Nav joins as Sales Manager for Clinical Pharmacy, having previously worked as Territory Sales Manager for Teva UK.
She will also lead the sales effort for Simple Guides, the series of consumer books acquired by HSP this summer.
“This joint role gives me the strategic control and autonomy I wanted to develop my career,” Nav said. “I look forward to making a success of both brands.”
Healthcare ad agency opens its virtual doors DREW CREATIVE ADVERTISING LTD is the first UK healthcare ad agency to launch itself as a wholly ‘virtual’ company.
