HSP appoints Editor and Sales Manager as diversification continues ON TARGET PUBLISHER HEALTH SECTOR PUBLISHING (HSP) has made two key appointments as it continues to expand its publishing portfolio.
Hannah Pike and Nav Pathak have joined to spearhead the 2009 launch of Clinical Pharmacy, a new monthly title for clinical and hospital pharmacists in the UK.
Hannah, a pharmacist with five years’ experience in pharmaceutical publishing, will be Editor of the new publication. She was previously employed by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, where she was Editor of the journal Hospital Pharmacy.
“This lively new publication will help support those involved in the safe and effective provision of medicines, and encourage clinical pharmacists to share best practice and seize new opportunities in a changing NHS,” Hannah said.
Nav joins as Sales Manager for Clinical Pharmacy, having previously worked as Territory Sales Manager for Teva UK.
She will also lead the sales effort for Simple Guides, the series of consumer books acquired by HSP this summer.

Siemens: new Regional Sales Manager for London SIEMENS HEALTHCARE has appointed Malcolm Pickering as Regional Sales Manager for the London area in the Imaging and Oncology business unit.
Malcolm brings both clinical knowledge and sales experience to his new role. He has worked in medical imaging at Kodak for 18 years, and more recently at Carestream. In this time he has held a variety of positions, including product specialist and regional sales manager. Within these roles he has worked in the North-West of England, central London and Scandinavia.
Prior to working in the commercial healthcare industry, Malcolm trained as a radiographer, completing a diploma and higher diploma at Liverpool College. He has worked as a clinical radiographer at Royal Liverpool Hospital, Trafford Health Authority and BMI.
