The former head of UK corporate affairs at Eli Lilly, Richard Ascroft, has been appointed Senior Director, Corporate Affairs, for the Australia, Canada and Europe (ACE) region.
In his new role he will lead regional government affairs, communications, public policy, advocacy and professional relations, and corporate social responsibility.
Mr Ascroft says he is “delighted to be given the opportunity to take on this new role that will enable me to continue to deliver support for Lilly’s business activities.”
The new senior director has been at the company since 1993 and served as a director of corporate affairs for Lilly in emerging markets and its Japan businesses from 2004 to 2009.
